We are a group of professionals that are concerned by the shortsighted urban sprawl in the United States and its impact on natural and agricultural lands. Moreover, we are troubled by the increasing consolidation of land into the hands of a few. These two concerns led us to create an alternative solution that protects natural areas at high risk of development, while allowing the communities to retain ownership and be rewarded for their stewardship. We hope to foster urban development that takes nature and people into consideration to promote vibrant, healthy cities.
